In 1959, my grandmother, together with my great-grandparents, went to live in Saugos, a small town in the Šilutė district, which once belonged to the historical region of Lithuania Minor. Upon arrival, my great-grandparents began working as teachers at the Saugos children's home, and so began the story of my grandmother's youth. This project explores how memory works in its multiplicity, and how remembering always produces yet another version of a reality already lived.
